To ascertain whether you would benefit from a course of treatment with Profhilo®, Dr A will invite you to attend a consultation where you can discuss your skin concerns and the results you would like to achieve.
At this point, Dr A will also run a check on your medical history to ensure that you are fully fit and able to have a Profhilo treatment. Once you are both satisfied that treatment will be both safe for you to undergo and beneficial for your needs, you will be invited back to the clinic for the procedure.
The treatment itself takes around 30 minutes and your skin will be numbed beforehand to ease any discomfort. Dr A will then inject small amounts of Profhilo® in to the areas that need attention.
You’ll then be asked to return to the clinic for your second round of treatment, a month afterwards.
Results from Profhilo typically last for around 4 to 6 months after your second treatment. To help maintain these results, we recommend that you have a treatment every 12 months.
